Sweden may entirely leave the "Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons" as yet another devastating blow to the populace's security, because NATO considers being a member of that treaty as a negative, says the new PM of Sweden, even stating that the govt is open to placement of nukes and permanent NATO-bases in Sweden, which also the government of Finland has said it is open to subjecting the populace of Finland to, according to several major news-media in both countries.
Nukes-placement would of course make both countries first-strike targets in case of nuclear weapons conflict, instead of "just" mandatory invasion targets through NATO-membership if the NATO military bloc gets into a war. There is also no actual militarily strategic reason to station nukes in either country, as such are already planned for launch using ICBMs, submarines and very long range bomber planes.
I simply won't be able to keep posting on the topic at same magnitude as I did on the topic over at birdsite, where I made >1500 posts in a bit over a month just on the topic of the ongoing revolution against the Iran-regime since Zhina/Jîna/Mahsa Amini/Emînî died, but I'll do some.
Today, the regime had declared and Reuters/AP/etc republished their outlets' propaganda-statements, that the protests were over, because... it had decreed it so, after having murdered hundreds for demanding their basic human rights of freedom and equality.
It seems the people didn't care. Today so far in 4 examples out of very, very many more, Tehran, Sanandaj, Zanjan and Marivan, antiauthoritarian feminist slogans and declaring the president a murderer and the regime illegitimate:

• "People ride their bicycles during a May Day demonstration in Berlin, Germany." Christian Mang/Reuters
• "Filipino activists march during a Labor Day protest along a major thoroughfare in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines." Lisa Marie David/Reuters
• "People hold flares as they attend the protest 'Take back the night' during the so-called Walpurgis Night ahead of May Day in Berlin, Germany." Lisi Niesner/Reuters
Kurdistan is divided into four parts, named west, north, east and south for simplicity by which State currently holds the areas. You've probably seen the words and some find them confusing, so here's the short list for your convenience:
Rojava (west), north and east Syria. Bakur (north), southeast Turkey. Rojhelat (east), northwest Iran. Başûr (south), north Iraq.
Paris #MayDay: "Black bloc set fire to a luxury real estate office. People in the apartments above complained that smoke was getting in. “Sorry,” ppl said, “it’s not against you, it’s capitalism.” Black bloc ran, got fire extinguishers, and put the blaze out. Crowd erupted in applause for both." https://nitter.net/anarchimily/status/1520778498801025025

After a 112 days long strike, the workers at multinational UPM in Finland lost.
The Paperworkers' Union accepted the State mediator's proposal whereby the traditional single collective agreement model gets replaced by agreements per business unit instead, enabling UPM to play one of the five units against the others in negotiations. During the strike, which started January 1, UPM for a long time refused even talking to its workers but instead turned to the courts to end the strike, whereby it got the strike partially banned, as well as using its multinationality to undercut its workers through using products made by workers in its factories in other countries instead.
