I've recently been playing a ton of Ultima III: Exodus.

I'm playing with the LairWare remaster on Macintosh OSX. It features a lot of quality of life improvements, and a ton of different tilesets, such as C64, Apple II, NES, etc.....I'm playing with the 68k Mac one. For some reason, I adore that high-res black and white style

My dad played the NES port of this game back in the day, and I'm now enjoying it myself.

@dosnostalgic I got the chance to play with an IBM PC Jr. IRL earlier this month, at a little computer museum at Middle Georgia State University. It was super neat, and my first time playing with one:

@dosnostalgic it's neat to me how, after the film dropped, this mini-franchise got two separate waves of games of different genres. Rather neat to see different variations on the story.
