Good morning !fediverse !tzag As I spent time with the folks yesterday, I noticed how much the old man is going down hill (although I call him that heâs not that old). Good morning !fediverse !tzag At the start if another day I find myself on the ferry heading to the mainland. We have two ferries and 6 flights a day that serve the island; too often we take for granted what is around us. Be thankful for all things in life, donât moan and grumble. Then consider donating it to the less fortunate. Is there a food bank collection at your local supermarket? Consider donating some food to it. Do you have spare time? Help out, there are loads of clubs clubs and groups that have plenty money and resources but not enough helpers. After years of little change the local supermarket has decided to modernise. In the fruit and veg section it has an automatic water mist to keep the produce fresh. Just before it goes on, you hear the sound of distant thunder and the smell of fresh rain.
When you pass the milk cases, you hear cows mooing and there is the scent of  freshly mowed hay.
In the meat department there is the aroma of charcoal grilled steaks with onions
When you approach the egg case, you hear hens clucking and cackling, and the air is filled with the pleasing aroma of bacon and eggs frying.
The bread department features the tantalizing smell of fresh baked bread and cookies. Â
I don't buy toilet paper there anymore, I won't even go near that department!!!!! #Joke -
