oh lord spare me this bullshit.

Mastodon is a club whose purpose is hating Elon Musk. That’s one of the best reasons I can think of for dumping mastodon.

In five years most of us won't be using Google or Google-like search engines.

Okay here's a newbie question.

My Mastodon is bleeping at me all the time. They say this is saying it's because I have Notifications waiting.

But -- when I go to the Notifications section, there's nothing like 16 new messages waiting. In fact that number never seems to change.

When I click a star on a message is that a Like on Twitter? Do the other people see that i've starred it?
