stig atle (stigatle@quitter.no)'s status on Friday, 05-Jan-2018 15:46:51 UTC stig atle Thank you! I took it while hiking today ( I try to walk my 1 hour forest hike every day now). Stopped climbing this summer, so I need to keep in shape, and walking is something I really enjoy).
The last days I had to walk in the dark, but today I made it out early, was nice. -

stig atle (stigatle@quitter.no)'s status on Wednesday, 03-Jan-2018 17:19:09 UTC stig atle I added it here:

I'll check on it soon. -
stig atle (stigatle@quitter.no)'s status on Wednesday, 03-Jan-2018 17:18:23 UTC stig atle Hmm, seems like the param : <statusnet:blocking>false</statusnet:blocking> , and '<is_silenced>false</is_silenced>' is not updated in the timeline xml file. So even though users are muted \ blocked in the web interface it seems as if it's not set in the xml timeline that #yaics is fetching. So I cannot check if a user is blocked or not.
Do anyone of you gnusocial devs know anything about this? -
stig atle (stigatle@quitter.no)'s status on Wednesday, 03-Jan-2018 17:08:13 UTC stig atle It does not support it unfortunately. If I'm not mistaken then the api should be similar (All tough I have not looked into it). Currently the API code is a bit hardcoded to the way gnusocial api path's are.
I will add this as a task in the bugtracker, so that I can investigate a bit and see what I can do about it. I cannot make any promises right now, but I wil definately take a good look at it. -
stig atle (stigatle@quitter.no)'s status on Wednesday, 03-Jan-2018 14:20:17 UTC stig atle Doing some work on #yaics today, been neglecting it for a while, currently working on fixing the issue where blocked users posts still show up.
I block most of these manga-or-what-ever posters filling my timeline with questionable content. I'd like to have them not show up in #yaics when they are blocked through the regular web interface. Also I will add a 'block user' feature after that, so that you can block\mute users directly from yaics. -
stig atle (stigatle@quitter.no)'s status on Wednesday, 03-Jan-2018 14:16:31 UTC stig atle I had this issue when combining visual studio & git and team foundation source server, mistakenly messed it up and got really confused why all of a sudden *all* my source files had changed, was a pain in the ass.
I'm doing well thanks, was a very productive day at the office, meetings all day, but was cool because we now have some very cool technology to develop this year. :) -

stig atle (stigatle@quitter.no)'s status on Saturday, 30-Dec-2017 22:39:13 UTC stig atle I will update https://diasporapod.no on Monday afternoon (Norwegian time), for full backup and upgrade to latest #diaspora version. Expect some downtime during this. -
stig atle (stigatle@quitter.no)'s status on Saturday, 30-Dec-2017 19:49:06 UTC stig atle @davehunt Yes that would be possible. I have kept that in the back of my mind. I want audio to be a game feature, make the audio tell you what is going on etc. Also I'll make sure menus and all that can be read by screen readers. -
stig atle (stigatle@quitter.no)'s status on Saturday, 30-Dec-2017 14:24:35 UTC stig atle @harald I usually work in c++. so it's nice to spend some time with something else. I have a game in mind that I want to make, I'm considering making it with rust. It'll be a console type game, with some graphics. I want to make it as if you have a spaceship's terminal, with access to all sensors on board (radar, engine stuff, fuel, all those things), then you have to use the few things you have available to travel around solving some tasks, by navigating using the radar screen and console interface for the ship. :) It'll just be for fun, but if it gets good I might make it into something bigger. Also want it to be a game that takes a lot of time, but you can trigger things (engine heatup sequence), then it sits there doing that for a long time before you can do next step, so you play the game over many days by having it in the background). -
stig atle (stigatle@quitter.no)'s status on Saturday, 30-Dec-2017 09:03:55 UTC stig atle Explored something different yesterday, rust programming language ( https://www.rust-lang.org/en-US/ ) and #emacs as IDE, want to try it for a small project. also want to try out haskell - https://www.haskell.org/ - a bit too. Nice to learn new things.
I must say I'm impressed by the way you add rust packages, https://crates.io/ , so damn easy to add it to your project. -
stig atle (stigatle@quitter.no)'s status on Friday, 29-Dec-2017 13:19:15 UTC stig atle Wanted to code a bit on #yaics today, but I'm having issues getting ssl to work in qt creator on debian testing, I've had this issue before, but now it's being a real pain in the ass.
I hate showstopping issues like this with software. -
