Went for a hour hike in the forest with my daughter tonight (and our dog).
Was so nice to have the sun and blue skies, birds chirping, squirrels climbing around, flowers are on their way and leaves are starting to slowly turn green.
I love being outdoors this time of year. -

@perspicacious01 I guess that'll be tough, because it's against their own interests. They do not have to care about other social networks at all.. -

We all dislike Mark Zuckerberg , and his surveillance machine. It's sad to see he's now trying to get more political and try to embed facebook more and more into peoples lives. I hope people will wake up more and see how dangerous it is, and how wrong it is. I hate that people feel that they absolutely need facebook and that there is no alternatives to it.
And It makes me slightly mad when people simply do not care about the bad side of facebook, they just blindly accept it all. If he came to my door like he does to those American families I'd say 'fuck you' and close the door before he could his foot inside the door. -

You can easily import the #blender particles into #houdini , and back into blender. https://quitter.no/attachment/1145694 -

Started coding on my first blender tool today. I coded something I initially wanted to make for 3dsmax, but I decided to make it for blender since I'm moving away from 3dsmax completely.
So what I have made today is a exporter\importer for particle systems, this addon will let you move partices (with their data) easily between applications (for example Houdini).
Here you see a screenshot of the particles in blender, and the exporter binary particle file opened in a standalone viewer.
You can then manipulate the particles externally with a c++\python API, then (when I'm done) import them back in as well.
It's been a lot of fun making this today, and is was much easier to get started then what I expected.

Very sad news to read.
Ueli Steck is a inspiration for most climbers, he was a legend.
Climbing like he did is a big risk, a risk he was willing to take, and now
he made the ultimate sacrifice doing what he loved doing.

Also - I make all the 3D in blender. It takes a while to get used to Blender still, mostly because 16 years of 3dsmax daily has made the 3dsmax workflow embedded into my brain heh, but I enjoy blender more each time I use it, I do not work as fast there as in 3dsmax, but I'm getting there. -

Today I finally feel inspired, so tonight I'm doing some work on a personal 3D project I've been working on for a while, a scifi short. I'm still blocking out the scenes, so now I've done some of that, currently I render out some animation tests. I still have a lot of work to do, but for now I focus on the camera work and the movements \ look, and timing, before I start making all the 3d models and replace them with the final models and such.
