    @derjeff My day job is creating real-time 3d for oil rig simulators. I work for National Oilwell Varco in Norway.
    I do most of the 3d models, code in house tools, code c#\c++ for the simulator itself. We are a small group of engineers working on it.
    It is the most advanced simulator in the oil bussiness, so it's very cool to have been part of it since the project started (it started on my desk many years ago, and has evolved into a very good product.).
    On my free time the last years I've been integrating Luxrender ( http://luxrender.net ) into 3dsmax as a render plugin. But now I'm moving away from 3dsmax for my personal projects and now I want to focus more on Blender and sidefx houdini. I've been using 3dsmax daily for 16 years, so it's time to do something else, at least at home.
    Got some of my personal things up on https://stigatle.no , I try to write a bit now and then when I do stuff.

    @derjeff Doing fine, got some time on the computer now, trying to figure out what to do, been playing some flight sim, now I'm wondering if I should start on a new 3d project or do some work on some of my existing 3d projects, or something completely different heh, hard to decide tonight for sure.

    @grimsdottir Doing fine too thanks, just got the kids to sleep, currently firing up Flightgear.
    As for programming ideas - I'm burnt out on that so I do not have any ideas at the moment.. :(

    Today has been as most Saturdays - trip to the zoo with the kids, now we're baking our usual saturday homemade pizza.

    Also last night I decided to give the game: 'Wargame: Red dragon' another try, and I must admit I'm hooked, runs super well on Linux too, which is great.

    @kodo Since you mentioned it I decided to install that one now..
    OpenSuse tumbleweed has this ridiculous issue where full disk encryption fails if you change the keyboard layout.
    All I did was to install with english layout, in the OS after installation \ reboot I changed the keyboard layout to Norwegian, then after a reboot the full disk encryption password does not work.
    I have seen this before and reported the issue, but it's still there.

    So now manjaro is getting installed.

    @knuthollund sorry for nagging so much today - but by going to the 'notification' timeline and manually pressing the 'mark all notifications as seen' made the notification count drop to 0.
    so it's all good now.

    @nepfag I avoid windows as best I can. I had a couple of projects that was windows only, but now I'm taking a break from that development, so that I can drop windows completely and focus on developing my 3d stuff on Linux instead.

    Seems as if It shows recent notifications now, but the number indicating unread notifications hangs. Seems as if those 14 are 'missing' from yesterday or something like that. it does not clear the number of unread statuses after visiting the notification tab. // @knuthollund
