I worry that he may be succeeded by those who have wanted him out for years now. People who don't care about freedom and know nothing about software.

@fred Why would that have to be FIRST? How would governments know about things if nobody came up to them and say: “I had this great idea. Maybe we could collaborate in making it a reality?” (Or: “I and many others have this pressing need. Why don't you help us in exchange for our votes?”)

Also, given whose idea it was, it makes sense to get it funded through grants or subsidies. No need for tenders at all.

@fred @ayo You could work with municipal governments and make the app for them. This could be just one of its features. Others could be related to public transportation, tourist attractions or info about all the services provided by said governments.

@demoakracia A decir verdad, antes de abrir la boca ayer o antesdeayer (por no cagarla o cagarla lo menos posible) busqué su nick de Twitter por aquí y no lo encontré. Seguramente se me olvidó buscar su nombre.

De todas formas sería raro que estuviera y no lo supiéramos. La gente conocida de Twitter enseguida encuentra por aquí un buen número de seguidores.

@demoakracia Creo que en lo fundamental estamos de acuerdo. El problema de Marta Peirano no es ni que se venda, ni que se venda en Twitter. El problema es que, en vez de estar aquí y venderse allí (que al fin y al cabo es donde está la gente), está y se vende allí.

¿Qué conciencias pretende cambiar si ella misma, sabiendo lo que supuestamente sabe, no ha cambiado absolutamente nada?

Por supuesto, respeto tu opinión, pero para mí lo de esta chica es puro postureo.

@demoakracia No, porque yo no he criticado estar en Twitter, ni siquiera estar SÓLO en Twitter. Lo que he criticado es que se forre a cuenta de decir que Twitter es el demonio mientras vive de la visibilidad que le da Twitter. ¿No conoce alternativas? Entonces está muy desinformada. No debería escribir libros sobre cosas de las que no tiene ni idea. Y si las conoce y no las usa, pues me parece muy hipócrita.
