@louis «These two notations may be used interchangeably as far as the Lisp system is concerned. However, as a matter of style, this book uses the notation () when it is desirable to emphasize the use of an empty list, and uses the notation nil when it is desirable to emphasize the use of the Boolean “false”.»

I was a subscriber to The New Yorker magazine for a year: I paid triple what an actual Newyorker would have, was not allowed to enter any contests and was not elligible for any promotions or discounts.

TNY also had the worst critics I have ever read in any publication. All of them were fucking idiots who knew next to nothing of the subject they were assigned to write about, be it movies, music, TV, and probably bars and restaurants, too.

The hardest temptation to get rid of is that of telling everybody about the good deed we've just done.

@feld An actual ad? Or did he just start rambling about it and happened to name a particular brand?

@feld I've never heard him talk about underwear, but I enjoyed both of his conversations with Tulsi and a few others I've seen, like how he unintentionally roasted Bari Weiss.

Then I realised that there are plenty of movies by actual geniuses like Murnau, which have not survived to this day (or are in pretty bad shape), and here I had some random ugly fuck's dick preserved for posterity. And that's when I decided to rm the fuck out of it.

I was cleaning up my computer and one of the things I found was a pornographic movie from the 1910s or 1920s. At first, I wondered: What the hell is this doing here? When did I download it?

I have no use for it and, to be honest, it was pretty much rubbish, so my fist impulse was to delete it, but I didn't want to act like a prude, so I stopped and asked myself whether it was possible that it had any redeeming value at all.

No habĂa datos personales.
