Its a small step from there to "climate consiouce is a middle class thing" which is easily rerouted by media the other cohorts.

"We" have so much to gain from overthrowing the current mode of production and consumption.

Its hard to tackle this yet, because it is not only media, industry assholes or right-wingers, several left groups and activists blow the same horn.
