@unsuspicious @ng0 there is a misunderstanding about the Bundeswehr. The Bundeswehr is purposefully not designed as a "mere recipient of orders and some higher order apparatus takes the responsibility for their actions" due to the effect it had in the second world war.

Fascist (and their networks) saw the army as a learning and teaching ground (and long time a source for income and influence).

@ng0 not really, conscription does not change much in this regards. You had networks of fascists all the time in the BRD-army (including several networks) since its foundation. As far as i know the NVA did not have these networks because they had a the secret service pointed to their own military (due to possible defection in case of an attack).

So Germany has a new Minister of Defence (lol, as if...). One of the first informations after her swearing-in which reaches my attention is, that she wants to reintroduce conscription.*
It does not matter what other points she ever will make (and she might be the future Chancelor candidate of CDU!), there is no way i ever could vote for her after this.

Now i am attending an event about platform coop, which tries to replace Spreadshirt for good. They will be founded with textile Workers from eastern europe (mostly croatia) and union members from bangladesh (and other parts of the supply chain) later this year.

@dtluna sure, but creating a template which fits the university requirements was never fully possible for me as a non LaTeX-person, so i stuck on Markdown.

@draco and i hate working with Pages/Word, because it changes so often the Style of the Paper...

@draco I never found a good workaround using a good reference manager (zotero i.e.) and work with plane text files (markdown i.e.) and compile it a way my university accepts. :/
