I've decided to delete pixelfed.nl. I will probably reinstall it on a subdomain in the near future, but it's not my future main project I had in mind.

The reason is that it just takes to long that #Pixelfed is ready for production. I'm still waiting for Pixelfed-to-Pixelfed-federation. In my opinion a #1 priority. Also other things are still not ready yet (like fullscreen images and deleting accounts). Of course I can wait longer for all this, but 6 months ago I already was at this point. So it's over. I have no patience anymore. It also costs me money and before I can ask for donations the service needs more people, but I only want to open registrations when Pixelfed-to-Pixelfed-federation is ready (the chicken and the egg).

OK, so tomorrow there are the European Elections here in the Netherlands. I still don't know if I should vote, and on which party.

As an anarchist I can of course decide not to vote, but I'm also convinced that I should battle on multiple fronts. Problem is that there is not one party that covers all my priorities (fascism, climate, capitalism, etc).

So that's why I let you decide. I narrowed it down to three parties and a don't vote. If the combined outcome of those three parties are lower than the don't vote option, I won't vote.

So a person in the fediverse made the thinking error that climate activism hurts the Third World. Let me explain in a few quick points why that this utter bullshit:

- the term Third World is a imperialist term from the Cold War.

- poorer countries , so called undeveloped countries or periphery countries (or whatever you want to call them), will be impacted the most by #climateChange! They already are!

- those countries are indeed negatively impacted by unfair climate policies from government leaders (NOT activists).

- This doesn't mean that those countries should have the right to continue CO² emissions, but that so called developed countries should help these countries with their energy transition, especially cause the developed countries (the West) are mostly responsible for climate change.

- most climate activists are very aware about these facts. That's why activists talk about #ClimateJustice! Especially radical activists (like me) are fully aware that climate change is racist!

- So don't frame climate activists that they serve the Western elites! It's the opposite!

Today is the Dutch #activist and #anarchist Joke Kaviaar arrested and send to jail. She must stay in jail for 71 days.

Joke is also active on Mastodon (and therefore the Fediverse) under the alias @Jo.

Her arrest was not a surprise, cause she lost earlier this month her last appeal. She must go to jail cause she first published alleged seditious texts, criticizing in her unique creative style the Dutch #asylum policy. The second reason was an action in a municipal council chamber against the #deportation of children and their families. So yes, she has to go to jail because of a now forbidden text and a non-violent action.
