"This was a group of so-called alt-right protesters who decided that a socialist bookshop, which stocks radical literature and working-class history titles and provides stalls for national trade union conferences, was a legitimate target for violence."
If this kind of shit doesn't wake up people, then nothing will. Fascists attacking books is the last step before fascists attacking people.

Stockholm police justified shooting autistic Eric Troell, 20, with Down's syndrome and mental development of a 3 year-old at least 7 times then waiting 10-15 minutes until ambulance was allowed to aid with being on a hunt for man deemed "extremely dangerous" and "previously threatening to shoot police".
Now, turns out the man they were hunting… was at the time they killed Eric held on remand at their jail in the police HQ for the Kronoberg precinct of Stockholm,

Our ancestors already knew (or they should), but they wanted wealth.☠️
"… During the 1970s, scientific opinion increasingly favored the warming viewpoint. By the 1990s, as a result of improving fidelity of computer models and observational work confirming the Milankovitch theory of the ice ages, a consensus position formed: greenhouse gases were deeply involved in most climate changes and human caused emissions were bringing discernible global warming. …"

@Gargron The worst part is that our parents or/and grandparents already knew what was going on. But they choose to believe politicians and capitalists, cause they promised wealth.

The reports of a fast approaching point of no return in climate change give me a lot of anxiety, because I'm pretty sure life will become a lot harder as i grow older. That i won't enjoy the same planet as my parents and grandparents. Makes you think if there's even any point in planning for the future.

"Capitalism was never a device for societies. Here's an analogy: think of a space rocket. Ninety-nine per cent of the rocket is just a fuel can – and when the fuel is used up, it falls back to earth. The people who built the rocket are way up in space. This is how it works. You're just part of the fuel can. The noise of the rocket might make you feel powerful, but in reality it's not built to go far. You will crash back down."

I'm watching at how people are saying the lack of Alex Jones on larger social media platforms is an "opportunity" for him to enter the fediverse (federated social networks) and I'm sitting on Mastodon just praying that y'all shut up and let him fester on his Wordpress install.
