Mozilla is sending all DNS traffic to cloudflare, because obviously the company which makes the internet unusable for TOR users has the privacy interests of the public at heart.

@bob Yes, that's a later issue, when my distro's actually upgrade to 4.17 (Ubuntu is doing it during 18.10). But according that Itsfoss article I can:
"If it doesn’t exist already, create /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf file and add the following lines to it:
blacklist CONFIG_CRYPTO_SPECK
"So my question is more; can I blacklist not yet existing modules?

@bob What do you think. Can I blacklist #Speck in advance on Linux 4.15 (desktop) and 4.09 (server)? Just in case I forget to blacklist it when my desktop and server are upgraded to 4.17.

I read some of the mailing list drama about Speck. Linus no doubt let this pass because Google will be a major influence in the Linux Foundation, indirectly paying his salary.

Police grenade launchers for protest suppression have very clear instructions to never aim directly at people, as they can kill on impact and have done many times.
Portland police were overheard yesterday talking of desiring to shoot them at anti-fascists. That's intent.
Here's a helmet of an anti-fascist, which had been killed by that launched police-grenade at that event without the helmet. Attempted murder.
