The cost will be low, and if it is run as a coop, even better - but it will be a server dedicated to being an all-purpose South African / African Masto node (whereas social.librenet has a slightly different direction with its masto node)
I am sure the folks at social.coop will be willing to help us figure out the "howto", if we need it.

I tend to sometimes drop these things that I find lying around the internet into a blog or webpage someplace (only those that /we/ create,and always only decoratively) - and I just don't wanna alienate you or piss you off :).
I'll avoid using it ;)

But you really gotta think about CC licensing for your work, maybe. It's as much for your own protection as for anyone else's, I guess?

@welshpixie you know that "Africa" piece you did? - It's beautiful - can we (librenet.co.za) use that? How do I add attribution? (is it even CC licensed?)

@Petros so, it's not that I distrust this particular organisation, it's that I distrust #blockchain in general and I''m a bit nervous to support anything that (in my own subjective opinion) sets the wrong precedent in terms of a universal social currency system that allows for the potential to create a "social credit" system, where only those the (AI? neuralnet?) deems worthy to actually receive any real economic support.
