- feed crows food A regularly
- when crows decide to bring you gifts, feed them food B
- when crows bring you different categories of gifts, feed them a food-per-category, ex: food C for jewelry, food D for paper money, etc
- crows will recognize these exchange patterns and opt to bring you things in order to acquire desired treatsgood luck! 🐦

if you learn you're in weapons development, stand up and say no. don't let them make you party to killing machines.

They say the use of the company's HoloLens augmented reality technology under the contract "is designed to help people kill."

discord is responsible for the nazis that use their platform, for the slurs in the logs they store, for the things those groups organize.
facebook is responsible for the hate that becomes violence on the parts of their platform they fail to or refuse to moderate.
even a crypto service should be wary they aren't protecting evil.

crows call me breadlady (garbados@toot.cat)'s status on Sunday, 02-Sep-2018 23:04:32 UTC crows call me breadlady i’ve been thinking a lot about software stewardship and software cooperatives lately, in the context of taking responsibility for the craft as a class of craftspeople. i’ve got an essay on the subject on its third draft so maybe i’ll publish it soon but since im on the bus maybe i’ll just blither about it for a bit.
it’s one thing for workers to control the conditions of their toil but another for craftspeople to take responsibility for their craft, and we need to do both.

< witch hunts occurred primarily over a couple centuries while a flailing papacy, nascent secularists, and a litany of protestant groups spontaneously collaborated to eliminate political dissidents, undesirables, and keepers of native knowledge (ex: healers) en masse across the european continent.
< meanwhile you are an untouchable princeling upset that people want to hold you responsible for your actions.
