@b4ux1t3 We're going to find out for sure once the next release of QuickInstall happens, but honestly I can't really think of anything. Current guesses are either some crazy edge case, or most likely it's just to make sure that the user sees that something is happening.

TIL that Windows 9x's "found new hardware" process has a hardcoded artificial delay of EIGHT seconds. It waits 3 seconds before displaying the device name and type it got from the driver, and then another 5 seconds before proceeding. I want hours of my life back. 😭

I know that's just the way the world functions because it's a vast space full of all kinds of people, but I really hate the fact that before I virtually engage with someone in my field of interests I gotta scroll through weeks of their social media posts to determine if they are a white supremacist or not.

The biggest delusion besides of the bigotry in the replies is a belief that someone would actually pay for a crack for LOOM in the year of our lord 2024.

@Olly42 You could always just build one. The first Spectrum I've used was built from the ground up, and that was back in the good old USSR.
