It appears that a new revision of Book 8088 has been selling on Aliexpress. And it's quite a bit more useful because it adds serial and parallel ports, as well as VGA graphics option.

@MutantFuturist It basically requires two players, so I can only comment on a single player mode which is basically playing both at the same time by constantly switching in real time: it's too much, and a lot of its prequel's (Hostages: Rescue Mission) ideas got kind of muddled.
