Getting how maths can help you solve new problems because it gives you visual representations of complex, abstract relationships is the coolest thing I've ever found from learning

OK, not THAT big when compared to 3.6, and Python is still definitely one of the slowest langs out there. But it's definitely doing better than 2.7 (which is usually considered to be faster than 3.x)

The performance improvements are a big deal, BTW!
Here's a list of fixed tickets so far: https://bugs.python.org/issue?%40search_text=&ignore=file%3Acontent&title=&%40columns=title&id=&%40columns=id&stage=&creation=&creator=&activity=&%40columns=activity&%40sort=activity&actor=&nosy=&type=7&components=&versions=21&dependencies=&assignee=&keywords=&priority=&status=&%40columns=status&resolution=3&nosy_count=&message_count=&%40group=&%40pagesize=50&%40startwith=0&%40sortdir=on&%40action=search

Oh hey, :python: 3.7 is around the corner! :woah:
Apparently it comes with neat performance optimizations (like https://bugs.python.org/issue28638), data classes, which are a nice way to write classes with data (https://www.python.org/dev/peps/pep-0557), a "development mode" with helpful logs, especially for async (https://docs.python.org/3.7/using/cmdline.html#id5), an UTF-8 mode that further enforces the encoding (https://www.python.org/dev/peps/pep-0540), and hash-based deterministic pyc (https://www.python.org/dev/peps/pep-0552).

Oh, and I've just heard about the DisplayPort Alt Mode, which means that currently a very few USB-C phones can output video to pretty much anything.
And I forgot about hidden fingerprint readers and Face ID-like identification.
So yeah, if I'm buying a phone now, I'm certainly missing stuff (even if it's on the premium range) compared to what's coming next year.

@angristan if you're using Nginx, setup the proper locations for videos with
add_header 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' '*';
and also set Access-Control-Allow-Methods and Access-Control-Allow-Headers if needed
