@angristan Don't say I didn't warn you lol - unless it's improved in the last few months, I can grant you that you'll see a bunch of crashes in the (more) native one.

@angristan Use the "OSX app" if you want a native design and/or secret chats. Otherwise go for the Qt-based Telegram Desktop because it's definitely much more stable.

@Skoll3 Don't think so, although it certainly would be interesting because 8.04 was pretty well rated at the time and it even made a few outsiders curious with its Compiz effects... it was also the second distro I ever tried lol

Now that I think about it, it would be cool to compare, say, Ubuntu 9.10 or 10.04 with Ubuntu 19.10 or 20.04. Like, actually seeing how much has (free) software changed over this decade, just like we easily see how it changed through the 90s (should be better documented tho) and the 2000s.
