@koyu I'm aware of that, but that just was *worse* than Chrome OS in all regards and made no sense in any way, even commercial. It just tried to copy how restrictive Chrome OS can get... by making it a lot more restrictive and less useful.

This however. This is making the browser, THEIR browser, the main star of the show. So much show that you're supposed to make all of your work on it now.

Come to think of it, Windows 10 is now so Edge-centric that it feels like an attempt to copy Chrome OS.
