    @_HellPie ...oh.

    I see.

    Well would be pretty cool to see what happened if Google Play Services had to go through the same rules.

    @_HellPie yeah, but what about non-Google software, especially those from retarded manufacturers like Samsung?

    @_HellPie Yeah, it kinda is, but at the same time Google only produces a few of the thousands of Android phone models in the market so they're not really responsible of anything but theirs.

    @_HellPie I guess neural networks are a good idea if you want to perform a task for which you don't know how to create algorythms or want to specifically tweak case-by-case. I guess stuff such as battery optimization is in some way patching over the real issues, but I can't think of much better ideas other than forcing companies to put larger batteries on their phones.

    @_HellPie Then it just means that Android is doing stuff based on knowledge that Google already had?

    @_HellPie So yeah, apps that look plain, boring, and the same, throwing all of the principles that make Material Design feel "material" (if anything it feels like a shitty notebook) and nice, and slapping up some Google instead :'3

    @_HellPie OK, but they're just using Material Design 2 like they would 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙮 𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙥𝙥. MD2 now apparently enforces usage of white, black and blue, Products Sans and lots of curves.

    @drequivalent ...actually, the explanation there seems to be pretty shitty, because it's actually worse.

    "Project Kinect for Azure unlocks countless new opportunities to take advantage of Machine Learning, Cognitive Services and IoT Edge. We envision that Project Kinect for Azure will result in new AI solutions from Microsoft and our ecosystem of partners, built on the growing range of sensors integrating with Azure AI services"
