@angristan Cocoa is the macOS API thing. So if you code native apps for macOS, you use that.

And hell it is heavy.

@angristan Yeah, Cocoa has always consumed more RAM than usual but it ridiculously grew up since OS X Lion. Which is exactly, along with iOS 7, the reasons I stopped admiring Apple as a company with perfect products.

@angristan You may find it nice at first but it gets old quickly, at least for me (eats up RAM like crazy although manages it decently enough, tries to dig you into the Apple ecosystem with interoperability stuff that only works with Apple products, no real package manager, Homebrew doesn't have everything and it can break, be prepared to spend a shitton of money for tools that are free anywhere else, etc.)

@howl First of all, make sure you have the latest stuff... keep in mind the latest version of Glade has been completely revamped, though.
