The problem with all EVs having "standard" charging ports is that charging stations way less common than Tesla Superchargers - at least here in California.

They're also less convenient, because each brand requires its own stupid app with a complicated payment procedure. The Loop app was buggy and wouldn't let me pay with GPay. After I got past this, it wouldn't start charging... took me a while to realize I had to press a green button located on the Loop charger.

I didn't fill the battery, but I charged it from 30% to about 60% in 1h at a Loop charger. It was $0.45 per kWh, and I spent $20. I think the price was well above average, but I couldn't find another free charger in the area.

@pthenq1 For the first few hours, I thought it felt like a typical SUV, with no acceleration... then I found that it was set to economy mode, using only 2 of the 4 motors.

When I switched to sport mode and pushed the "gas" pedal... wow! It's not a Model S Plaid, but it's impressive for a pickup.

Special Program was one of many monthly magazines which distributed obviously cracked games with minor mods, such as changing the title and translating most of the strings to Italian, sometimes with awkward abbreviations to fit within the available space 😂

@mkj I have a friend who works at the Archive. Next time I go, I could give him the entire box of magazines to scan them and store them in the Physical Archive!
