@miklo Great! Ban those, this will make pressure for other markets to follow along. Potentially making more devices as good targets for #Replicant project.
@dausacker Apenas marcando com o assunto correto.
Uma forma muito simples de obter uma lista de pacotes instalados em Trisquel é recorrendo ao comando dpkg.
No Terminal, digite:
$ dpkg –get-selections > Lista-Pacotes.txt
$ dpkg –set-selections < Lista-Pacotes.txt && apt-get dselect-upgrade

@vitoranguia Meus pêsames. 😞
If #WhatsApp and #Facebook want us to believe this, they can come clean by making their platform's source codes free and open, so people can inspect and verify the claim that they no longer keep copies of those "vanished" messages.
#WhatsApp lets messages vanish after seven days, it says. Yes, messages will vanish from the sender and recipient. Not from the service provider's servers! This gives nothing more than a false sense of #privacy. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-54825021

@jbauer Enable #SFTP and use your local file browser's bookmark to add the remote (requires #FUSE / #GVFS or some similar mounting software, which is mostly already installed in user-friendly distros). That's it. :)
I am thinking of changing the default DPI in rsvg-convert from 90 (historical default) to 96 (CSS preferred). Would this break your usage?
(How to know: run "rsvg-convert -d 96 ..." and see if that breaks your expected results horribly.)
Please boost.
@craigmaloney I don't know exactly what is the work in question but if you can, use #AGPL instead of #GPL. Also try to use latest version with the “or-later” option (I know this is sometimes not possible, specially when some CC-BY-SA-4.0 work is involved, for which case it's better to use the “only” versions and assign #CreativeCommons as #license #proxy).
My new PC arrived!🤩 (Kitten not included)
I'll publish later a blog-post to describe the setup I selected and review if digital-painting/video/CGgraphics feels good with it on GNU/Linux. For now: unboxing time and install. 🐧🔧
@kirschner One thing that bothers me is why #Matrix didn't send their own standard to standards bodies such as #IETF, #W3C and such like. Also, the fact that their “flagship” client, #Riot / #Element Desktop, is actually not #FreeSoftware worries me (see https://directory.fsf.org/wiki/Riot.im and https://directory.fsf.org/wiki/Review:Riot.im-REV-ID-1 ).
Any recommendations to easily add a language attribute to a generated PDF with #FreeSoftware ? Preferable from the command line. Thank you!
@kirschner To make myself clear, I don't know if the second part is possible (taking raw data to create #PDF with #QPDF).
@kirschner Also, although not command line based, @libreoffice automatically sets the attributes when needed provided you select the right one for document, paragraph or selections . I see this using #QPDF's “---raw-stream-data” option.
One thing that might be able to do is try using that same command for #QPDF, spotting where to change stuff (in case there is a specific spot for the change) and seeing how to make a new #PDF from that raw data.
@vitoranguia De nada! 👍
@lohang Just bringing this to the attention of @@Chocobozzz and @Gargron .
