!freegaming It seems I have fallen in love to abandoned projects lately...

It's another attempt to create a libre alternative to the well known RPGMaker series. The tool is written in scala(a variant of java). The main developer left the project something like a year ago, short bevore it reached a useable state. The sad thing about this tool is the fact that there seem to be a lot of people who would like to use it. Almost no week passes without a new issue. So if you are a java/scala programmer who is looking for a new project this one maybe could be the right one for you. -

!freegaming !gamedev !rbadev Finally I made it!
Today I was able to build Python+pygame AppImage that seems to run on all common GNU/Linux distros by default.
Again I used @ericxdu23 's 'Labyrinth of the Dead'.
The game itself has a size of ~12MB and resulted in an AppImage of ~65MB. That would still be small enough to distribute it, I guess.
I want to share my knowledge as soon as possible. Maybe I'll write a little HowTo or commit a show to #hpr or I'll do both things. -

@majestyx Ich bin kürzlich auf Mageia gestoßen und wundere mich jetzt sehr warum diese distro nicht viel öfter für einsteiger empfohlen wird. Ist zwar auch nicht freier als Ubuntu, wird aber immerhin von einer comunity entwickelt und ist wirklich sehr bedienerfreundlich.
