After my 90km cycling trip last week, no major pain. Only minor fatigue on the legs. I should think of a 100km+ cycling trip this week. -

The worrying aspect is that with a compromised TN govt, attacks against minorities, especially Christians is increasing. Not a week goes by without an incident of violence against Christians in TN. Media does not report it as nobody hasn't been killed yet. I hear this in twitter. -

I wonder how wear and tear HDDs suffer due to windows OS constantly accessing (especially svchost. exe) HDD at 100% for no apparent reason. It happens so often that some people have normalized this behaviour and not be concerned about it. -

Did a 90km cycling trip today in 8 hours. Started off in a cloudy and pleasant weather, but in the afternoon, skies opened up resulting in a uncomfortably hot conditions. I had to take a 1 hour break when it was the hottest. During a small part of the journey, I used the wind to my advantage resulting in me travelling faster than my usual speed.
Travelled mostly through small town and a city, but also farmlands. The paddy fields here at Tamil Nadu are being harvested after they started off at November.
I haven't pushed myself physically this much for quite sometime and I liked the experience. I hope my knees don't complain tomorrow -

It's very annoying when the white man in an affluent Western country claims that all those poor Asians and Africans are the cause of global pollution. That is so far displaced from the truth, and it irks me that they have the balls to say such things. -

I've never missed not being in Facebook, but Whatsapp is a different thing. I was speaking with a technician over phone and he asked me to send the screenshot of a malfunctioning software over whatsapp. I had to ask request his email instead. But then by default, people assume that you have whatsapp.
I've heard about many workplaces where it is mandatory to have whatsapp for important announcements. -

Air conditioning is the most wasteful use of energy, especially in a room which is not insulated. The air conditioner can barely bring the room by a 5°C and it keep on wasting energy trying to maintain it. Its like a gigantic refrigerator without thermal insulation. -
