Every fucking company saves your password without encryption. Few days ago I had a talk with Vodafone customer support and on the phone the guy asked me: "I can see your password here, can you tell me your last 3 letters of your password please?" As I said: "What?? You know that this is illegal?" he changed subject.

If you're using bash or zsh and you don't know the ^X^E shortcut, learn it now.

First, ensure you have a valid `EDITOR` environment variable set to your favourite editor (like vim or emacs).

Second, enter some command, but don't hit enter.

Third, use Ctrl+X Ctrl+E and learn that you can use your editor to modify the command before running it in the shell.

This is pretty helpful if you're trying to edit a long command line.

Amazon and Google are both coming out opposed to people using their services for domain fronting, to circumvent censorship.

Note that Signal is actively blocked in Egypt, Oman, UAE, and Iran. So, that sucks.
