But if STEAM_HOME was empty. It turned into:

The world of open source / libre instant messaging aka chat (excluding/including audio/video calls), is a mess! There are many good alternatives, but they are all little islands suffering from a negative network effect. So why not make them federate?! Is that even possible?!
Before you start about #Matrix, I see that (at this moment) more as an IRC/Slack replacement.

Have you heard of StreetComplete? It's an Android app that shows you open questions/issues with OpenStreetMap in your area, and asks you to answer them.
It's made for people with no experience with #OpenStreetMap, so it shows only very simple questions that can be answered very clearly. ("What is printed on this street sign?", "What's the number on this house?")
It's available on @fdroidorg, of course! #mapping #android #apps #recommendation

My coworker is Hungarian and has informed me that his friends back in Hungary have asked him to stop sending GPG encrypted emails unless it's very important.

Why?

Because the government is monitoring it. And if they see you receiving GPG mails, they will make your life hell.
