The link I just gave in the original post was about how they were using Gab to promote killings.

The problem is online posts being used to directly incite real world violence.

You can already do this on Mastodon by using the following URL:

(Public Profile URL) /tagged/ (hashtag you want to filter)

For example, if I want to search switching.social's account for the hashtag "Alternatives", the URL looks like this:

Umm... it's pretty much like using Skype?

You see a list of contacts, and click on the ones you want to call.

There's a search box for searching for contacts, and a + button for adding contacts.

You can create an account by clicking "Add Account" and then "Create Jami Account".

I'm not sure how it could be simpler, to be honest. Maybe it was more complicated on older versions?

Yes, Dissenter is openly connected to Gab, which is by its own admission Nazi-friendly.

It's widely used by neo-Nazi groups that have been banned on all other platforms. That's why it exists, that's why it was set up:

I think the benefits will become clearer when Prismo federates fully (i.e. when Prismo sites start federating with each other).

If I understand correctly, the idea is to spread ownership without losing the network effect, i.e. to decentralise.

It would also allow Prismos to benefit from the Fediverse's existing userbase of millions.
