   Friendica is a social network platform for the Fediverse with a Facebook-style interface. As well as being compatible with Fediverse platforms such as Mastodon etc, it also works with many other standards, for example you can add RSS feeds to your timeline.

   @dynamic you can try https://dir.friendica.social/servers. If you visit the server instance just click on the i for information button, usually at top right of screen and it has a list of installed addons/apps shown - mine shows at https://squeet.me/friendica. See RSS not listed separately.

   I followed my RSS feed as a contact, and then chose to mirror its posts as my own feed. That's how I'm getting Friendica to show my posts in full text.

   @santiago In order to achieve true #decentralization of the #fediverse, one should not forget that there are hundreds/thousands of servers other than mastodon and these other projects also have their own lists from which to choose based on the size of the server and its health.    Friendica (@news) is a very flexible Fediverse server type with lots of useful options and a Facebook-style web interface with no character limits (or at least I couldn't find one!).

   Friendica lets you follow Fediverse accounts from Mastodon etc., but it also lets you follow RSS and Twitter feeds, or turn RSS feeds into Fediverse accounts that people on other Fedi platforms can follow.

   There are also extra features like calendars and groups.

   The flexibility does make it a bit trickier to use, but once you get the hang of it there are things you can do on Friendica that aren't possible on other Fedi server types.

   There's no dedicated Friendica app, but if you have Android you can use Friendica through Fedilab (@apps), and of course it has a web interface that works on all platforms.
