    [๐Ÿงต 3/?] The historical aspect of I, Robot comes from the fact that it's (quoting Wikipedia) "the first commercially produced arcade video game rendered entirely with real-time, flat-shaded, 3D polygon graphics". I featured a game previously (Cube Quest) that used 3D objects on top of FMV backgrounds, but I, Robot is all polygons! In fact, the game's attract mode touts this very fact (in between displaying gameplay hints), as depicted below.
