@fribbledom I have been making plans for making a tabletop induction hob precisely so I can have an input system that isn't miserable to use while benefitting from the better energy efficiency.
That and to avoid the horrid "one second on, several seconds off" heat control on lower settings which seems to plague all affordable induction stoves.

@fribbledom dude my kitchen faucet is touch activated, powered by AA batteries, and absolutely annoying beyond all else
