I just switched my laptop from #Rawhide to the newly branched #Fedora 38 beta which will release in April.
It's been a very smooth experience so far, let's hope it stays this way! :fedora:

@dropbear42 @mirek Fedora 38 was branched a few days ago and will be released 2 months from now.
You must be using Rawhide, which has been tagging rpms as "fc38" for a few months, and will switch to "fc39" soon.

You're the second poster today to say this [https://fosstodon.org/@dropbear42/109839149993812610], & i am confused. My F Branched VM has been on 38 for WEEKS now already. On the basis of the linked thread, i thought it implied 39, so have just finished the updates... but it's still "only" 38... ofc, now much newer than b4, but still "just" 38. Why do you & @mirek seem to think this Branched 38 is "new"? I must be misunderstanding, i think.
