   I really dislike the button reading "Publish" when sending a DM on Mastodon.

   It always makes me question if I'm really sending a DM or if I'm accidentally "publishing" something on my regular feed.

     I understand, and that part actually makes sense to me. I still think the button should read "Send" instead of "Publish" however, as it's much more appropriate.

     I always have to double check I'm really sending a DM, and that little change would eliminate all my confusion.

     @fribbledom They recently removed the terminology "direct message", they don't seem to want people thinking they are secure.
