     The animated backgrounds are also pretty cool.

     I wonder if they're created by Stable Diffusion and then post-processed to add rain and other looped animations?

     @codewiz Looks like it, yeah, wouldn’t be difficult.

     Always find it odd that the rainy cityscape is one of the defining tropes of Blade Runner when in reality it rains so rarely in LA.

     @slyborg That was genius: it quietly and constantly reminds us that pollution deeply altered the planet.

     #BladeRunner2049 tries to pull the same trick: orange haze in Las Vegas, the grayish desert surrounding the protein farm, the ash-like fallout, the storm at the sea wall of Sepulveda Blvd, followed moments later by a calm snowfall at Wallace Corporation HQ.

     They overdid it just a bit, haven't they? 😂
