     tbh I'm suprised the temporal cold war even happened due to how completely owned everyone's computer systems would be, you'd think the first thing to do would be to take down the systems for time travel in the first place

     one of the main problems with starfleet ships doing all this time traveling is that, especially when they arrive in the future, their firmware is completely out of date and they're totally open to 0-days
