   House speaker Mike Johnson blamed shootings on may things... but one jumped out at me: Teaching evolution.

   Can someone please ask this man how old the earth is and if dinosaurs are real? Corner him now.

     Evolution is one of the most beautiful things we know about our world. I consider not teaching it a crime of imposed ignorance.

     Like not letting a child learn about numbers, or banning a child from listening to music.

     I'll never understand how anyone could do it.

     @futurebird I'm reasonably confident he's in the 4004BC camp.

     (Though, for the record, I am not a hater of Bishop Ussher, who was actually a pretty rigorous thinker and a helluva researcher and analyst. However mistaken and misguided his effort, it was accomplished in *1650*, when there was nothing remotely like even an *idea* of evolution, let alone the staggering amount of hardcore science we have now that backs up that theory.)
