     @xj9 @hobbsc I expect that anyone making decisions about web standards is heavily lobbied to do this kind of stuff. If everyone around you is saying that DRM is ok, that is "protects content creators" or whatever then it would be easy to go along with that.

     @hobbsc @xj9 as I said in a job interview earlier in the year at which DRM came up.
