   It's been my opinion for years that folks who claim to support open source should be using open source systems for their communications. When I've said this in the past folks usually just look at me strangely and then go back to using Google+ or WhatsApp.

     @bob I am FOSS right now. Server, Laptop, CELL PHONE, and comms. (XMPP, FreePBX, etc) it is weird to setup the first few times but it works so well and is FREE.

     @stitchxd Yes and no. The more popular projects do get eyeballs, the less popular ones usually not. So there can be all sorts of broken open source software out there in production.

     @bob It's always sort of irritated me that so many FOSS communities and members clung to Google+. It really kind of screwed over the wider movement.

     @lambadalambda @deadsuperhero I havn't yet got Matrix running on !Freedombone. Probably I'm doing something wrong or misunderstanding something. XMPP works fine though.
