   @arunisaac I don't but it's a possibility. Some time ago I did investigate searx, but back that it couldn't be Tor proxied and so wasn't very useful.

     @arunisaac It's a good point. I've also read elsewhere that the performance of yacy is not very good, and that's fairly understandable because it will have a relatively limited capacity for web crawling.
     
     Search is the big problem. Often it has been said that search can't be done well in anything other than a centralized way. I'm not sure that's true, but at least that's historically how it has been done.
