!gnusocial If you're a GNU social server sysadmin, don't disable TLSv1.0 support and earlier on your webserver or Andstatus and Twidere won't work on Android versions prior to 4.4.2.
I just lost like a fucking month until I figured this out.

@isaaac It is, but as said, Android versions before 4.4.3 won't work. @mathias I understand your point, I disable if for the same reason. But I'm not able to buy a new phone, as many people, so I just re-enabled it.

A few? Are you kidding? You can see there how many SO don't support tlsv1.1. https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=social.daemons.it

Ugh, my bad, I just meant to enable TLSv1.0. SSL is horrible whatever version you use. TLSv1 with HSTS and FPS is "usable", IMO. For a while, at least.
-
I don't know. They don't even support 1.1.

Pretending that people have to have enough money to renew their phones is exagerated. @dictvm

@dictvm Thinking that that android versions are old and that people can afford buying new ones is presumptuous. @jan

@dnel Of course it's a bad solution, but is the only one. You can't expect people to have enough money to buy new phones.
