Hmmm... Using @andstatus I'd LOVE to be able to sync more than just the latest 20 messages if more than 24h have passed since last sync in my home timeline (the option in the settings states that it downloads latest 200 messages, but it only downloads 20). Also, whatever amount it is (20 or 200), it'd be great if a button between old messages and new ones would allow to download more, as for example Twidere does. I'd love to contribute, but I can't program beyond very simple programs. Anyway thanks for your effort in keeping it alive and well! 😊👌

@nestort Q1. Do you have enabled the syncing option: "Don't synchronize old messages if previous sync was more than... hours ago"?
Q2. Why don't you use automatic periodic syncing (e.g. once in an hour)? https://quitter.no/attachment/1327235

@andstatus Iep, thanks! As for Q1: right, it was set to 24h. I didn't know that setting it to null disabled the option. Hopefully now it'll work as I like 👍 I disabled automatic syncing to make my battery last longer, although I'm not sure how much battery it drains if enabled. I'll try it and see. Thanks again! 😊
