   -more cohesive and effective military
   -save money on people who would otherwise have killed themselves
   
   cons:
   -more normal people are sent out to be killed in their place
   -they get to stay behind and poz domestic culture
   
   yes the initial salt is amazing but thinking about it i'm not entirely sure about this

     if that's the concern you can always have separate divisions, one competent one for actually defending the land, and another for meddling in the middle east
