   Believe it or not, but back in the 90s, we had to fiddle with all kinds of different connectors to hook up peripherals to our machines... PS/2, Centronics, RS232C, oh my! Of course today, thanks to the wonders of standardization, it's a thing of the past. https://gnusocial.de/attachment/4688176
