@jerry it took them a good 4 years to follow their kids to facebook. i dont think a large scale exodus will ever happen. what usually ends up happening when a site dies, is that it's minority of important users (the ones who make the content and give people a reason to use the site) will silently leave first, and the majority will stay and regurgitate what content they have until the next big thing pops up.
