I think I know exactly why I dislike @kaniini 's "locked accounts" antifeature. Ever since GS times, I was relatively vocal about how I see so-called follows - that they're basically akin to RSS feed subscriptions to me (and in fact back on OStatus it was extremely close to truth). Masadong-style rejection of that ruins this idea entirely since some shitter can just deny me subscription - in other words he has means to *affect my choice of timeline content*. It repulses me.
