@lain @Wolf480pl @animeirl it was an email to a mailing list wherein in his attempt to defend Minsky (who, for as far as anyone can tell did not accept Epstein's offer) he went and created a bizzare narrative wherein Minsky did take the offer and then defended taking the offer in perhaps the most bizzare way possible. it's not really the content of the message that is the problem but the bizzare defense in the first place.

hey, we could really use some help testing https://git.pleroma.social/pleroma/pleroma/merge_requests/1585 in Pleroma.

if you want to test it as an instance admin, please use the `integration/alex.s/gun` branch on the main Pleroma git repo. this tracks the `develop` branch with the 1585 MR applied to it.

i am holding the MR until i know for a fact that a few other busy instances have tested it, as we cannot afford to have any breakages with this...

don't even whine about instance blocks when your fellow local users are ironically posting CP and their accounts aren't being banned. some of us have less risk tolerance for that shit.

yeah, some instance blocks are bullshit, but making sure your door isn't kicked in seems like pretty good reason to block an instance when they show no sign of ensuring future incidents don't happen.

I just cut the #Pleroma 1.0.3 release.

this release contains several fixes for embargoed bugs relating to OStatus.

upgrading to the 1.0.3 release or to latest `develop` is *strongly* recommended.
