Just had the fastest consultation ever. I said 4 symptoms and the doctor gave 4 medicines for those symptoms - all in 2 minutes.
(It was an outsourced college hospital which has free consultation and pharmacy that gives free medicines)

They don't. In fact the person doesn't even ask you all the relevant questions - like the incident that led to the particular problem. They just listen to the symptom and give you a medicine, which I feel is insufficient. But then doctors are overburdened and have to treat as much patients as possible in a short time. I doubt that they'd earn much treating in a subsidized health center like this one.
