@bhaugen When creationists try to attack the modern successor of Darwin's ideas, they use some of his own uncertainties about his conclusions, quoting him both in and out of context, and that just ignores that most if not all the things he didn't have an explanation for have since been explained. Basically they are attacking his original version, because they don't stand a chance against the modern one, which has been fortified and improved by one discovery after another.
They attack Darwinism for being atheist, but Darwin of 1859 was a Christian man, educated in theism, and was looking for God in his discoveries. When God was not part of the explanation, that made him a deist over the years, not the other way around.
